Boshart's Warranty Information

Boshart Industries has a standard warranty across all products that covers the item for one year, but did you know that Boshart also offers warranties that expand beyond the standard one year for certain products?

Standard One Year Warranty Policy

Boshart Industries warranties these products to be free of defect in material, including workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the replacement of the defective product only, it does not include any damages or labour costs. If there is any faulty installation or abuse and misuse of the product in any manner, this is enough intent to void this warranty. 

Boshart's policy is to issue credit or replace the product on warranty claims once there has been confirmation of the validity of the warranty claim. Boshart Industries reserves the right to request that the products being claimed for warranty need to be returned for inspection. 

All of the warranty claims and returns need to have an RA (Return Authorization) before it is to be returned. All RA's are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue.

Special Requirements for Underground Installations

An unbroken line of PEX is always ideal for a buried water line supply, but it is important that if a BPF series, SSPF series or SSPEX series fitting is being used, you must probably wrap it when making it suitable for underground installation. Wrapping with a quality silicone tape will not only help the connection last but if you do not wrap it, you will void the warranty. Wrapping all underground connections provide protection when there is unknown soil contaminants which could accelerate the corrosion rate. 

It is very important to remember to wrap all underground fittings for the warranty protection, failure to do so will void the warranty.
