Flexible Couplings are widely used in the Plumbing and Water Well industry for many different applications. Because most of the piping that was used in the past was ductile and now most is ABS, the original design and sizing of many Flexible Couplings makes them difficult to install. The molds from many companies are still sized for ductile pipe, which makes the Flexible Couplings hard to get on.
