Gear Clamps are used in a wide variety of applications to ensure connections are tight and secure. They work by clamping one item to another, ie a pipe to an insert fitting. As the screw is tightened, the band shrinks around the pipe. One of our test procedures is a tensile strength test, measuring the amount of force it takes for the clamp to break.
