You may have noticed that some of our well caps are looking slightly different than they used to. Along with the obvious colour change, we have made some upgrades to our line that we think you are going to want to know about! We have also decided to discontinue some of our well caps, so make a note of that as well.

What'S New With Our Well cap product line?

#1. New Sizes in our WTCC Line 

We now offer four new sizes in our WTCC cast iron series watertight well caps! See below for the new part numbers and their corresponding sizes.

WTCC-C04    4" Cast Iron Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1" Conduit (Black)

WTCC-C045   4 1/2" Cast Iron Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1" Conduit (Black)

#2. WTCC Line Part Number, Logo, and Colour Changes

Our four current WTCC cast iron watertight well caps will now have the BOSHART INDUSTRIES logo. The paint colour will also be changing from blue to our classic black. Please note that the part numbers will be changing to keep consistency in our part numbering system. You can see the part number changes outlined below.

#3. NEW WTCC Aluminum Series

We have developed four new products in our WTCC-Axxx series. These are a cast aluminum version of the WTCC cast iron series well caps. They are a single wide gasket style. See below for their part numbers and sizes. 

WTCC-A05   5" Aluminum Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1" Conduit 

WTCC-A06   6" Aluminum Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1" Conduit 

WTCC-A06- BLK   6" Aluminum Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1" Conduit (Black Finish)

WTCC-A06-12  6" Aluminum Watertight Locking Well Cap with 1-1/4" Conduit 

#4. WTC-Axxx Series Upgrade & Logo Change

The following cast aluminum watertight well caps have been upgraded to include a tamper proof/locking feature to meet current well codes in some areas. These cast iron well caps will feature our BOSHART INDUSTRIES logo and are a double O-ring type. The 6" cap is available with a black powder coat finish. "-BLK" will be added to the end of the part number to help identify this.

#5. WTC-Cxxx Series Upgrade with Logo & Colour Change 

Our WTC-C series cast iron well caps have been upgraded to include a tamper proof/locking feature to meet current well code in some areas. These cast iron well caps now feature the BOSHART INDUSTRIES logo and the new black colour finish. No part numbers have been changed for this series.

#6. WCC-Axxx Series Logo Changed

Our WCC-Axxx one-piece aluminum well caps have been upgraded to feature the BOSHART INDUSTRIES logo.  

Discontinued models

#7. WTC-Axxx-BLUE Series Has Been Discontinued 

We will no longer be supplying the following two models of painted aluminum caps as they have been discontinued.

#8. CC-6-CI Series Has Been Discontinued 

Our CC-6-CI well cap has been discontinued. We will no longer supply one piece well caps in the cast iron material.
